1. Observe your environment
When I am at my coffee break,
I enjoy observing how people laugh, smile and interact within their groups, how they sip their coffee as they relax, how they sit back and get engrossed with reading their book.
Watching them enjoy what they do makes me feel more relaxed as I sip my coffee.

2. Empty your mind
Have you tried closing your eyes as you sip your coffee, and empty your mind in the process?
Emptying our mind brings us to a more relaxed state of mind. We move away from our thoughts of work. When we relax, the flow of blood increases around our body, thus giving us more energy.
With a calmer mind,
- You will think more positively
- You will concentrate better
- You will remember more clearly
- You will make better decisions at work
3. Draw or scribble any thoughts
I like to pen down my thoughts sometimes as I sip my coffee. I bring along a small notebook and a pen to record my drawings and scribbles of ideas, my train of thought or anything that comes to my mind.
Drawing or scribbling our thoughts helps to stimulate our brain and we can visualise better what we are looking for or what we are thinking about.
We may even enhance our intuition power.
We may even have our Ah Ha moment!
