MAS 610/1003 Regulatory Reporting
Training Program

– for banks and merchant banks in Singapore

Since the revision of MAS 610/1003 in July 2021, financial institutions’ business, credit, operations, and finance departments have to work more closely to prepare, validate, and review the regulatory submission to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (“MAS”) on a regular basis.

Preparation of the regulatory report requires extensive interpretation and appreciation of the regulatory rules. It involves the end-to-end process of transforming data extracted from business systems into the form required to be input into the regulatory reporting system.

We have specially curated a training program for professionals in banks and merchant banks who are involved in MAS 610/1003 reporting.

Our three-hour program covers:

  1. Interpreting the rules in MAS 610/1003*;
  2. Applications of such rules in the preparation and validation of data; and
  3. Case examples.

*Coverage for the rules will depend on the group within the bank/ merchant bank who requires an update or refresher program. Typical coverage:

  1. Counterparty type and industrial classification (SSIC);
  2. Linkages across forms in the MAS 610/1003 report;
  3. Differences between ultimate risk and immediate borrower;
  4. Secured versus unsecured credit facilities reporting, etc.

This corporate training program is for banks and merchant banks in Singapore, with minimum class size of 20 pax. Contact Lay Geok Yeo at empower@lgd.com.sg or 8368-9349 for a quote.
